Our Portfolio Performance Monitoring assists clients reduce their impact on the environment and assist suppliers to do the same, helping to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as corporate & investment commitments.

  • Identification of environmental innovation opportunities, including on-site renewable energy, green rooftops, and cooling and noise reduction through water features that use only recycled water.

  • Capture energy-efficient building operations during ownership or over an investment horizon, achieved through specialized training of asset and property managers, which may result in a reduction of asset energy use and direct GHG emissions.

  • Comprehensive and verifiable quantification of all unavoidable GHG emissions associated with an asset during ownership or over an investment horizon, in accordance with the principles of leading, international recognized standards including the WRI/WBCSD Greenhouse Gas Protocol. At a minimum, an assessment can cover direct GHG emissions ("scope 1" emissions) and emissions from the generation of purchased electricity consumed by the asset ("scope 2" emissions).

  • Potential off-setting mitigation strategies for GHG emissions through the purchase of high-quality carbon offsets that are sourced from carbon offset projects. These offsets can meet high international standards (e.g., the Gold Standard or the Climate, Community and Biodiversity Project Design Standards), and may also include investments in activities that result in positive environmental and reputation-building benefits in addition to reducing GHG emissions.
